I've never really seen Metro as "dusgusting", but then, I started with it way back on a green screen Palm Pilot. I gues I'm just used to it. Moving from the green Palm screen to a color WinMo screen seemed like a huge improvement! ;0)

I do think that it would be nice if a graphical view of the route were displayed below the text instructions. I know that you can click on the route icon to see the info, but in the modern interconnected data world why doesn't it display for me. In that regard I'll agree with you.

I use Metro all the time. I'm new to NYC and this has been a life saver. Plus, I look less like a tourist and more like a New Yorker checking my Tilt instead of a subway map.
