To solve the issue with links to h2 and h3 showing up behind the non-scrolling area, we added a new tag to the styles.css file to define the anchor style. This did the trick:

a[name] {
height: 1px;
padding-top: 30px;
padding-bottom: 30px;
}

The problem I’ve found is that when you click hyperlinks to other lower-level headings within a page, the beginning of the linked section ends up under the non-scrolling area and is not visible without scrolling back up. Any solutions?

What are the main differences between Blaze and Flare? Which tool should we use, if most legacy input will come from Framemaker, and [most] output will be tri-pane HTML-based help?
Do these tools require that we “chunk” our existing manuals, i.e. prepare them for single-sourcing, before using Flare or Blaze?
Which tool offers the most options for outputting source files to translators who may still be using Word or Frame for their localized output?
Any advice you can offer will be appreciated. We need to make a purchasing decision in the next few months.

Is there an emulator for Blackberrys that enables Flare concept links? Unfortunately, Skyfire is not available for Blackberrys.

Congratulations! Its good to know we’re in good company.

Am sure they probably did a detailed feature study, pilot, ROI analysis before they standardized Flare for a big project like that. It sounds like the project’s output is probably a lot more customized than a standard ‘off the shelf’ delivery with Flare, what with the SDK linked update going on.

Kudos. Good work gets recognized.
